DHL appoints new CEO for DHL Express EEMEA

Express logistics company DHL has appointed John Pearson as new CEO for the EEMEA region (Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa).

EEMEA is one of most dynamic and fastest growing regions in the DHL Express network. The region comprises of 86 countries and employs over 10,000 people, serving customers in over 850 languages.

Commenting, John Mullen (pictured), CEO, DHL Express, said: “John has always had a singular focus in responding to the needs of the business and in identifying and securing appropriate and new channels for profitable growth.

“His direct experience of working in the Middle East for eight years, coupled with his business acumen and commercial experience will be a huge asset in the diverse region of EEMEA.”

Pearson has over 20 years of experience within DHL Express and joins from DHL Express’ global office, where he held the position of Executive Vice President Commercial.
