Quantum named supply chain solution of the year

Software company Quantum Retail has won an award for its supply chain solutions for retailer New Look.

The company’s Q solution has been used by New Look to manage its allocation processes and inventory replenishment. The retailer’s two percent rise in full-price sales, despite having less stock, has been attributed to the company’s improved processes and stock management.

"In Q we've created a next generation inventory fulfilment module that determines inventory need anywhere in the supply network,” said Quantum Retail’s CEO Tarik Taman. “We're very proud of what we've achieved but most importantly of what our clients have achieved."

The Q solution is a bolt-on inventory optimisation solution, which can go live in under seven months, and recoup the cost of installing and running Q within five months.

"Q has enabled New Look to move our supply chain from being buy driven to customer driven, whilst delivering impressive financial results. It is truly first class," stated Phil Wrigley, Executive Chairman of New Look.
