Maersk expected to post profit for Q3

Danish shipping group A.P. Moller - Maersk is expected to report net profits of DKK16.4 billion (£1.79 billion) in the first nine months of 2008.

Revenues are expected to be DKK231.6 billion.

Maersk will release an interim management statement on November 12.

For the full year 2008, Maersk Group expects revenue of DKK 320 billion. Profit for the full year is now expected to be in the order of DKK20 billion to 23 billion.
