K+N appoints Ulber to management board

Peter Ulber has been appointed to the Kuehne + Nagel International AG management board with effect from January 1, 2009.

Ulber (pictured), 48, will be responsible for the Sea & Air Logistics business unit. He succeeds Reinhard Lange, who will take up his new function as group CEO on January 1, 2009.

“For many years Peter Ulber has successfully held a number of key management positions within our company,” said Klaus-Michael Kuehne, Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors. “With his broad logistics know-how and professional experience he will excellently complement our corporate management team.”

Ulber joined Kuehne + Nagel in 1983, and has held various management positions within the company’s North America organisation.
