Infonic wins NHS subcontract

Software group Infonic has introduced its software to logistics group DHL’s operations across the NHS.

The Infonic software is now in use at seven DHL sites. Its secure centralised storage will handle around 1.6 million invoices for non-pharmaceutical supply across the NHS.

The software is also expected to speed the number of invoices processed without needing to increase the numbers of administrators. The improved speed and efficiency is expected to allow the NHS to take advantage of time-reliant supplier discounts, saving the NHS money.

Infonic’s stocks rose 0.25 pence to 1.875p on the news.
