Dowlis Corporate Solutions PLC, the marketing, information and logistics company today posted a pretax profit of £464,000 for the six months to June 30
The profit was built on 11 pct higher revenue, rising to £10.42 million from £9.38 million in the equivalent period last year. The company had suffered a loss of £279,000 for the year previous.
Following this good news, Dowlis have also announced the appointment of Craig Slater as chief executive. This will take effect from the 1st October.
The company has put its good performance down to cash generation since the half year and said it is confident of future profit growth.
The company said Slater and current CEO Martin Varley will work closely to continue the growth of the group through profitable development of existing businesses and through further acquisitions.
