DHL expands in Europe

DHL, the global market leader in international express and logistics is to expand its services to Eastern Europe.

The company will expand its Europlus Day Definite delivery service to Romania, Bulgaria, Russia and Turkey which will bring the total number of European destinations it services to 34 countries and territories.

Angus Whiteman, product director at DHL Express, said: “Customer feedback has told us there is a real need for one supplier that can offer a complete delivery solution to Eastern Europe and we are delighted to be able to respond to that need.

“DHL Express is always looking for new opportunities to grow the business and the expansion into Eastern Europe represents an exciting challenge for us.”

The company is also looking to extend its service to Greece.
